President & AI Director
Dr. Laurent Potet, President of ASTEC Global, is a leading expert in digital transformation and ICT for Development (ICT4D), with over 22 years of experience managing high-impact technology projects, particularly in developing and emerging economies. Holding a PhD in Organizational Management and a Master’s in ICT, he has led multidisciplinary teams on EU-funded initiatives totaling over €20M in investments.
Specializing in digital strategies, e-governance, e-education, e-health, and sustainable connectivity, he plays a key role in bridging the digital divide and fostering inclusive digital adoption. As Team Leader of the Knowledge Hub Digital Facility at DG INTPA, he drives policy development and implementation for large-scale digital transformation projects.
With a strong network across EU institutions, private sector stakeholders, and international partners, Dr. Potet ensures effective policy execution and impact measurement through advanced monitoring frameworks. Fluent in French and English, he is a key player in shaping a sustainable, inclusive, and human-centric digital future.
